Mission: -GO
To provide opportunities for Male Young Adults (age 18-25) to play basketball and learn about Christ in a fun atmosphere with their peers. To introduce Christ and to provide a safe environment for them to play basketball.
Theme Scripture: Luke 16:15 - To enlighten young men about Jesus Christ through fellowship and mentorship.
Team Responsibilities:
- Lead Bible Study during Friday Night Session.
- Lead, oversee, or participate in discussions relevant to biblical relevance to real life issues.
- Set an example of Christian living. (Relationships, Friendships, Media, Habits)
- Set the tone for clean, healthy competition.
- Enforce no fighting, cursing, or inappropriate behavior as well as no alcohol or drugs.
- Invite participants to Sunday School, Worship and other Cornerstone events.
- Follow up with phone calls, emails or postcard.
- Have all participants sign gym waiver.
Signs of God's Activity:
Young men will come to know Christ and become active in Cornerstone as they build relationships with the men of the church.
