Deacon Family

Mission: CONNECT

To assist the pastor in meeting the needs of the church members.  To minister to the total physical and spiritual needs of every resident member and their family on a continual basis .  Each Deacon couple will have a list of Members that they are directly responsible for.

Theme Scripture:

Team Responsibilities:

• Act as the first line of communication for the members to the church.
• Inform church of needs of the member family. (Spiritual, Physical, Financial) 
• Inform families of church wide events.
• Coordinate food items or donations needed for church wide events.
• Inform families of church member deaths and emergencies. 
• Inform families of service interruptions due to inclement weather or emergencies.
• Pray for assigned families.
• Make personal contact with each family at least 1 time per month and special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. (This can be either at church, a call, or a personal card or letter.)
• Attend scheduled New Members Lunch (Rotation)
• Make personal follow-up contact when families who are not in attendance.

Signs of God's Activity:
All members will feel connected to the body of Cornerstone Baptist Church..
